Sprout in Motion is a specialized mental health and SEN support provider with over a decade of experience working with international schools across Asia.

Our Hong Kong and PR China-based clinical and educational psychologists, counselors, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, ABA therapists, and other specialists are one of the most experienced and qualified teams in this field.

The Sprout team’s combination of overseas training and experience, coupled with local roots, ensures we understand the culture and expectations of international schools. We provide services in-person and online to meet a variety of needs. Our tri-lingual capability offers the critical advantage of comprehensive assessment and direct communication in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

In order to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents, our work extends to partnerships with parents, caregivers, teachers, school personnel, pediatricians, psychiatrists, boarding school consultants, and others to help students reach their full potential in school and life.

What School Leaders Say About Us

“The CIS community of students, parents and staff have long appreciated and benefited from our professional partnership with Sprout In Motion. Whether through private consultation, assessment, therapies or community seminars, we know that we can always count on the range of professionals at Sprout to provide outstanding, compassionate and forward-looking services.”
– Anne Gardon, Head of Primary, Chinese International School (CIS), Hong Kong

“Dr. Minna Chau and her professional team at Sprout in Motion are very easy to work with. Their core purpose is to support families and work with the school to make sure this happens. Her educational assessment reports are very comprehensive and the recommendations for each individual student are easy to follow. Dr. Minna makes a point of getting to know the school, the child, and the family, and is well respected in our parent community.”
– Anna Hollies, Head of Learning Support, Primary, Yew Chung International School (YCIS), Hong Kong

“Dr. Chau has a well-rounded perspective of how both teachers and parents may see concerns and clearly communicates her observations and findings. She has a wealth of knowledge and provided us with strategies that have helped the student to continue to thrive. The concluding report was one of the best that we have read over the years. Sprout in Motion also provides families with intervention services, and these additional services are very helpful to support the work that we do with students at school. It is wonderful to see centers like this where both educators and families can receive support.”
– Srishti Vaswani, Team Leader Learning Support, Yokohama International School (YIS), Japan
